Syracuse football released its Week 4 depth chart on Monday ahead of the team’s game with Liberty. The Orange (2-1) will host the Flames inside the Carrier Dome on Friday at 8 p.m., seeking revenge for a 38-21 loss to Hugh Freeze’s squad a year ago.
SU’s two-tier rosters redshirt junior quarterback Tommy DeVito as a starter, as has been the case throughout the first quarter of the 2021 roster. However, the head coach Dino Babers said on Monday he was still evaluating the DeVito and Mississippi state transfer Garrett shrader, who both contributed to SU’s 62-24 victory over FCS Albany on Saturday.
“As for the situation with the quarterbacks, we are still evaluating with them,” Babers said as part of his opening statement. “I’m not going to announce anything here as it would be a tactical advantage for our opponent. But in the order they know first, the team will know second, the media will know third. Hopefully it is that order.”

Syracuse’s depth chart included a few slight changes – those which are, as usual, indicative of what happened in the previous contest. Senior running back redshirt Abdul adams was added as a third co-save to the starter Sean tucker. Adams now sits alongside redshirt in sophomore Cooper Lutz and junior Jarveon howard. Senior Offensive Lineman Redshirt Airon Servais is classified as starting center with redshirt in second year Carlos vettorello on the right tackle. And the cornerbacks of the second team Adrien cole and Neil nunn have flipped sides.
